Zumba Gold is a really fun option for active seniors who enjoy music and dancing. The dance moves are modified, lower impact versions of original Zumba choreographies. The class can be done both standing, seated in a chair or a mix of both, depending on the mobility level of the seniors.
Chair Yoga is a great option for experiencing the many benefits of yoga without needing to stand or get on the mat. Students are often amazed and inspired to see how many yoga poses can be modified for staying seated in a chair.
General Fitness/Mobility Training
This is an excellent option or seniors looking to maintain and build muscle tone and stay as mobile as possible. Extra attention will be paid to senior-specific issues such as preventing falling and joint mobility.
